Halloween Index uses Supabase to provide optional email sign-in and to store actions you choose to take, such as votes, saves, reviews, and newsletter signup. Browsing the Feed, Tonight, and Upcoming Releases does not require an account.

Analytics

In production, Halloween Index uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and in-product actions such as votes, saves, newsletter signup, and outbound clicks to official or affiliate destinations. Google may set `_ga` and `_ga_*` cookies. Email addresses and account identifiers are not sent to Google. Browsing the Feed, Tonight, and Upcoming Releases still works without an account.

External providers

Event and release pages can display images hosted by publishers or data providers. Your browser contacts that host to load an image and may share standard request information, including your IP address and user agent. Images use a no-referrer policy so the Halloween Index page URL is not sent. Opening an official-site or ticket link takes you to that provider, whose privacy policy then applies.

Retention and contact

Provider event data is refreshed on a bounded schedule and removed when it expires, is withdrawn, or receives a valid takedown request. Account data remains until the related account or content is removed. Use the linked official source on an event to report an urgent correction while a dedicated public contact channel is being established.
